Antique Washing Paddle with Initials "M.S.P" - Late 19th Century

£50.00
| /

A beautifully worn antique wooden paddle, likely used for washing but could have been for butter making, bearing the initials M.S.P. - presumably the owner's initials or the name of the house where it was used. This piece carries a wonderful sense of history, once serving as a humble yet essential tool in daily domestic life.

The smooth patina of the wood, softened by years of handling and the deeply carved lettering give it an authentic, timeworn character.  Whether displayed in a rustic kitchen, added to a collection of early household tools or used a a decorative wall piece, it speaks of craft, tradition and the beauty of the utilitarian made by hand.
