Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Deliberate Home. Please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.

UK Mainland Delivery

We currently ship to UK mainland addresses only. 

Shipping rates are on a tier system:

 

Fragile & Large Item Delivery Run

Fragile and large items are delivered via our bi-monthly weekend delivery run. We will be in touch to arrange a suitable delivery date once your order is placed.

Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

International Shipping

We do not currently offer international shipping. However, shipping to the USA is being undertaken and will be available shortly. 

Packaging & Sustainability

At The Deliberate Home, we believe that the way a product is packaged matters just as much as the product itself. Our goal is to minimise waste, reduce our environmental impact and ensure your order arrives safely.

Our Commitment
Sustainable Packaging: The vast majority of our packaging is recyclable, compostable, or made from responsibly sourced materials. We carefully choose packaging that aligns with our values of sustainability and intentional living.

Reused Materials (on occasion): In rare cases, you may notice packaging such as bubble wrap or padded envelopes in your order. These materials are never purchased new - they are reused from shipments we receive, giving them a second life rather than sending them straight to landfill.

Minimal Waste Approach: We avoid unnecessary packaging wherever possible, while still protecting your items in transit.

Why We Reuse Packaging
Reusing materials extends their life, reduces waste, and makes the most of what already exists. While they may not look as polished as new, rest assured that reused materials are clean, functional and chosen with care.

When you shop with us, you can feel confident that your purchase supports a business dedicated to thoughtful and eco-conscious practices. Every order is packaged with both sustainability and care in mind.

Tracking & Delivery

• All home decor orders include a tracking number, which will be provided via email once your order has shipped.
• Furniture items will be delivered every second weekend but you will be notified of the delivery date in good time.
• If you have not received your order within the estimated time frame, please contact us at julia@thedeliberatehome.com.
• Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout, as we cannot be responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address.

Damages & Lost Packages

• If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
• If a package is lost in transit, please reach out to us, and we will assist in tracking it down or arranging a replacement if applicable.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the unique nature of vintage and antique items, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is a significant issue with your order, please reach out, and we will do our best to help.
