The base is finished in a soft cream / pale beige glaze, adorned with delicate olive leaves in the shades of green and pale ochre.  Black-grey olives nestle amongst the leaves, creating a warm, organic feel.  A fine brown glaze frames both the top rim and the base, giving the piece definition and balance.
