Antique Welsh Oak Dresser - Late 18th Century
A charming antique late 18th Century Welsh oak dresser with a gorgeous patina.
Originally cut down from a larger dresser, the upper section has a moulded cornice and two shelves, above a stepped plinth. Iron hooks below the moulded cornice and on the edge of the top shelf.
The lower section has an arrangement of two drawers each with a brass handle (I believe a later addition) and ivory escutcheon, and an under tier shelf or pot board with a shaped apron.
