Extra Large Eastern European Cooking Pot
Beautifully hand-thrown terracotta pot, with remnants of a glazed band and faded hand-painted decoration which has some blackened patina from years of sitting over an open fire, gently cooking or heating food.
Once used to hold soups, stews or stored goods in rural Romanian homes, this vintage clay pot carries years of quiet, practical beauty.
Each curve is slightly uneven, each mark entirely unique - a reminder of it's handmade past. Whether left empty or filled with dried steam, it will add depth, history and warmth to your home.
