Bring warmth, patina and effortless French country charm to your tabletop or kitchen dresser.

Crafted in the South of France, this generous shallow earthenware plate features a buttery, soft yellow glaze. The broad rim is moulded with green glazed raised relief botanical scrolls / tendrils leading down into a wide basin centred with an organic concentric spiral.

Turn it over and you will find the three classic tripod stilt marks (pernettes) left from the kiln firing - quiet proof of its studio pottery origin.  

Whether loaded with seasonal fruit on an oak dining table, used as a low centrepiece filled with walnuts and clementines or propped against aged timber on a dresser shelf, it brings an instant sense of warmth and deliberate slow living to a room. It would also look fabulous as a wall plate (fixings would be required).

Condition: Good vintage condition with age appropriate character. The glaze retains a rich, soft gloss with light surface wear, minor firing irregularities. Kiln spur marks visible on the underside as made.
Care: Gentle hand wash with warm, soapy water recommended. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher use.
