Bring a touch of classic English farmhouse style to your kitchen with this authentic vintage enamel bread bin, likely dating to the 1930's.  Featuring its original white enamel finish and unusual red "BREAD" lettering, this bin is a wonderful piece of kitchenalia with plenty of character.  The side handles are also red enamel as is the top rim of the base.

The handle shows a split - a sign of use and love - but remains sturdy with plenty of life left to give.  Perfect for those who appreciate the patina of time and the beauty of pieces that have served and endured.

Origin: England
Era: Vintage (exact age unknown) - perhaps 1930's.
Size: Height (without lid) 29 cm / Height (with lid) 33-34 cm / Width (excluding handles) 31 cm / Width (including handles) 38 cm / Depth 22 cm.
Ideal for: vintage kitchen decor, display in a country cottage or retro-themed space, prop styling or photography or functional use with a bread bag liner.
Condition: This piece has seen decades of use and bears the charming signs of age.  The rim of the lid and interior base show areas of rust and there is light visible through the base, indicating a small hole or thinning of the metal - we recommend using an inner bread bag for practical storage.  The enamel is timeworn with chips and marks consistent with age and use, adding to its vintage appeal.

Please note: this is a genuine vintage item sold in as-found condition.  If you're looking for pristine, this may not be for you but if you love well-worn charm and honest wear then this large bread bin has bags of it.
